Celebrant Services
I am an authorised marriage celebrant registered to perform weddings in Australia.
I am also available to perform namings, commitment ceremonies, renewal of vows, funerals, memorial services, coming of age...
I am happy to have an obligation free meeting with you so that you can meet me in person.
Each ceremony is crafted, together with you, to create your perfect ceremony.
I work in consultation with you via email, phone and personal meetings to ensure that your ceremony is exactly what you want.
I have a PA system that will ensure your ceremony is heard by all your guests and also a CD player that can be plugged into the PA.
At the end of each ceremony you will receive a presentation folder and certificates.
Weddings
Call or email me with the planned date, time and location of your wedding so that I can confirm my availibility. I will then send you out an enquiry pack.
Once you choose me as your celebrant we will meet at a mutually convenient time, date and place. I will advise you of the necessary documents that you will need to bring with you eg; birth certificates, Decree Absolute, passports etc.
You will be given a sample package of ceremonies, readings & quotes for you to take home and consider. This will give you some ideas for your perfect ceremony. I also have a library that you are welcome to browse.
Together we will work to create a ceremony that reflects your relationship, your love, values, culture, family and friends. A personalized and unique ceremony that is a reflection of both you and your relationship.
I will organise all the legal paperwork. I highly recommend a rehearsal to ensure we 'iron out the kinks'. A rehearsal helps all the people who will be participating in your ceremony to feel more comfortable about their role.
"We can't thank you enough for your love, support, friendship and for putting your heart and soul into our ceremony. We were deeply touched and you will always have a special place in our hearts." Jo & Simon.
Renewal of Vows
Married couples often choose to re-affirm the love they share and renew their wedding vows on significant anniversaries, eg 1, 10, 25, 40, 50 years.
They may wish to repeat vows they made on their wedding day or create new ones that are a reflection of how they feel now.
As with a wedding ceremony it can include the exchange of vows & rings, music and poetry.
Committment Ceremonies
A commitment ceremony is available for couples who have made a commitment to each other and wish to publicly declare their love and promises before family and friends, without the legalities of marriage.
As with a wedding ceremony it can include the exchange of vows & rings, music and poetry.
Namings
A name giving ceremony is an opportunity for family and friends to celebrate and welcome a child into the community. These ceremonies are an alternative rite of passage to a religious christening or baptism.
The naming can be a welcome to a newborn or young child, adoptee, stepchild, children in an extended family or a foster child.
Together we can create a personal, meaningful ceremony that may include family traditions or various symbols. Parents, godparents, guardians, grandparents can acknowledge their responsibility and pledge their important role in the child's future development.
Funerals and Memorial Services
Losing someone close to you is a traumatic time for anyone.
Often a religious service is not appropriate, but together we can create a ceremony that is a true commemoration of your loved one's life. A fitting tribute to them and an opportunity for those left behind to celebrate their life, offer their respects and get some closure to assist with their grief.
