There are times in our lives when we need someone to talk to,someone who can listen to us without being emotionally involved, someone who can have an objective view of what is troubling us. As one client said: "a counsellor is like paying someone to be your best friend, to sit there and just listen to you without butting in about their own stuff. When a problem or an issue arises for us, whether it is physical, emotional, mental or spiritual, it is not possible to treat or find a solution by looking at just one aspect. Each of these areas or levels needs to be examined and a combined approach is required to find a positive outcome for you. This is what 'holistic' means.  

To look at all these areas it is necessary to take into account the ‘world’ in which you live – family, job, relationships, your view of yourself, etc. The combined impact of all these things will present a different 'symptom' in each person.

Holistic Counselling is a way of working out your personal problems by taking into account your physical, mental and spiritual situations with the help and guidance of a trained counsellor.

You will feel empowered to utilise the skills you develop in sessions and have the courage to take control of your life.
